Rick Heiden

Rick Heiden is an experienced HVAC Systems Development Engineer at Trane Technologies since June 2019, specializing in the design of innovative systems aimed at reducing global energy intensity. In addition to this role, Rick has been a dedicated member of ASHRAE since June 2003, actively participating in Standards and Technical Committees, including serving as Secretary of TC 1.11 Motors and Motor Controls. Prior to joining Trane Technologies, Rick held several positions at Trane from 1994 to 2019, culminating in a Senior Manager role focused on screw compressor technology and leading a mechanical design group. Rick's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver, earned between 1987 and 1991.
