Ron Cosby is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement, strategy development, and supply management within the HVAC industry. Currently serving as the Director of Procurement at Trane Technologies since March 2020, Ron also holds the title of Thermal Systems and Technology Leader. Prior to this role, Ron spent nearly a decade at Ingersoll Rand, where responsibilities included leading global technology development and integration for the Climate Solutions product portfolio. Ron's career began at Trane, where significant contributions as a heat transfer engineer involved a broad range of chiller technologies. Ron's technical foundation is supported by a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, both obtained from Purdue University.
