Tom Carels

Tom Carels has a solid background in investment banking and corporate finance, beginning with internships at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., VD&P Corporate Finance, and the Capital Link in 2017. Following these initial experiences, Tom served as a Private Equity Intern at Gimv in 2018, then transitioned to an Analyst role in M&A and Corporate Development at TVH Group from August 2018 to December 2019. Subsequently, Tom worked as an Associate in M&A and Strategy at Daikin Europe from December 2019 to July 2024, managing M&A projects and providing strategic advisory support to business units. Currently, Tom holds the position of Associate in Corporate Development/M&A at Trane Technologies since September 2024. Tom earned a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering with a major in Finance from Ghent University and holds credentials from the CFA Institute.
