Valerio Forconi

Valerio Forconi currently serves as the Director of Government Relations and Public Policy for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Trane Technologies, focusing on advocacy strategies aligned with the company’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2030. Prior experience includes leadership roles in corporate affairs at Imperial Brands PLC, where Valerio managed EU advocacy and stakeholder engagement to address regulatory risks while creating commercial opportunities, and at British American Tobacco, specializing in communication and crisis management. Valerio holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sapienza Università di Roma and an Executive Program degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science, alongside a Bachelor’s in European Studies from Durham University.
