Peter Lee

Peter Lee has a diverse range of experience in the actuarial field. Peter started their career at Standard Life as an Actuary from 2001 to 2006. Peter then worked as a Consultant Actuary at Watson Wyatt from 2007 to 2010, specializing in the life insurance industry across the Asia Pacific region. Following this, they joined Ageas Insurance Company (Asia) Limited as an Assistant Vice President, focusing on Solvency II and capital management. Peter also led the company's enterprise risk management project. After working at Ageas UK as a Financial Risk Manager, providing actuarial oversight and challenge to key decisions related to capital management and risk appetite, they moved to Prudential Assurance as a Reporting Development Actuary. In this project-based role, they acted as the UK Finance lead on various change projects and provided commercial advice related to regulatory documentation and capital optimization. Currently, Peter holds the position of Chief Actuary at Transact, starting in April 2023.
