Michael Timko currently serves as an Account Executive at Transact Campus, beginning in November 2023. Previously, Michael held various positions at Washington & Jefferson College from August 1989 to November 2023, culminating in the role of Associate Vice President for Technology and Chief Information Officer. In this capacity, Michael set strategic priorities for the department and ensured alignment with institutional objectives. Michael also served as Interim Chief Information Officer during a transition period, assuming both CIO leadership and prior director responsibilities. Earlier roles included Director of Administrative Computing, where Michael managed daily operations of the ITS department and the Colleague ERP system, and Associate Director for Administrative Computing. Michael earned a BA in Accounting, Sociology, and Russian from Washington & Jefferson College between 1984 and 1988.
