David L. has a strong background in the renewable energy industry, with over 30 years of experience. David has held various leadership positions in notable companies such as TransAlta, Innergex, Enel Green Power North America, NRG Energy, Reunion Power, Catamount Energy Corp., Constellation, and Maryland National Bank.

In their most recent role as the Senior Vice President of Growth at TransAlta, David is responsible for overseeing the company's growth strategies.

Prior to this, David served as the Vice President and Managing Director - USA at Innergex, where they were responsible for the development of renewable energy projects in the United States and Western Canada.

David also worked as the Senior Director - Business Development at Enel Green Power North America, where they led the commercial team in project development and managed business relationships with various stakeholders.

At NRG Energy, David held the role of Senior Vice President of Project Development, overseeing the successful development of wind projects in Texas and managing a team of energy professionals.

Before joining NRG Energy, David worked as the Vice President of Development at Reunion Power, where they played a key role in advancing wind projects in New York State.

David's experience also includes managing wind energy development investments and joint-venture relationships at Catamount Energy Corp. and working as a Project Finance Associate at Constellation, where they played a role in financing and restructuring power assets.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Commercial Real Estate Officer at Maryland National Bank.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in project development, business development, financing, and strategic development in the renewable energy sector.

David L. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business in 1987. From 1990 to 1992, they pursued a Masters of Administrative Science with a focus on Management and Real Estate at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School.
