Gary Brunet

Gary Brunet, P.Eng. is a highly experienced engineer specializing in dam safety, currently serving as Sr. Project Engineer at TransAlta since August 2018. Prior to this role, Gary held positions including Engineer in the same field at TransAlta and Geotechnical Engineer at Klohn Crippen Berger from January 2011 to July 2018. Gary also worked as Project Engineer at EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd from December 2009 to November 2010 and as Field Engineer at Praetorian Construction Management Ltd from May 2008 to November 2009. Gary earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Option from the University of Alberta, completing the degree from 2003 to 2008.
