Jeff F.

Jeff F. has extensive experience in renewable energy engineering and project management, currently serving as Manager of Renewable Development Engineering at TransAlta since October 2022. Jeff has effectively led project engineering teams and established critical standards for due diligence and risk evaluation in wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. Previously, as Analytics Manager at Westwood Professional Services, Jeff founded a technical analytics department and enhanced client services through engineering analysis. Earlier roles included Technical Bid Manager and Manager of Energy Resources at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc., where Jeff managed teams and coordinated technical aspects of wind energy projects. Jeff also held positions in education and research, contributing as a lecturer and adjunct faculty member while earning advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
