Mich Blais is a seasoned professional in the power engineering industry with over two decades of experience. Currently serving as the Operations & Maintenance Manager at TransAlta, they manage daily operations at the Scotford Cogeneration station. Mich holds a 1st Class Power Engineer certification and has previously held leadership roles at companies such as Domtar, North West Redwater Partnership, and ATCO Power Canada Ltd. They are pursuing further education in Contract Management, Foundations of Leadership, and Labor Relations at Mount Royal University and Queen's University.
