Lance Ward

Lance Ward, CPSM, CSP, is a seasoned procurement professional currently serving as a Senior Strategic Procurement Advisor at Transamerica since May 2024. With a robust background in procurement management, Ward previously worked at the Environmental Defense Fund as Procurement Manager, where responsibilities included strategic procurement and supplier relationship management. Additional experience includes roles at Netspend as a Buyer/Planner and at Velocity Electronics, where Ward advanced through positions such as Sourcing Team Lead and Commercial Off-the-Shelf Commodity Manager. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics, Ward is furthering education with an MBA at The University of Texas Permian Basin, expected to complete in 2029.
