Eric Schmid

Eric Schmid's work experience starts with their current role as the Head of Software at Trans Astronautica Corporation, where they have been since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from June 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Trans Astronautica Corporation, Eric worked as a Computer Science and Engineering Consultant from October 2021 to June 2022.

In 2018, Eric worked as a Website Administrator at Chappaqua Swim and Tennis, where they were responsible for updating website contents and improving user experience. Eric held this role until March 2022.

While studying at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Eric held two positions. From September 2020 to October 2021, they worked as a Student Assistant. In June 2021 to August 2021, they worked as a Student Researcher.

In June and July 2020, Eric worked as a Student Researcher at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they collaborated with another intern to develop a user interface for a time series exploratory tool.

Eric's earliest work experience was as a Library Page at Ossining Public Library, where they worked from August 2016 to June 2020.

Eric Schmid completed their high school education at Ossining High School from 2014 to 2018, obtaining a High School Diploma. Eric then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Eric obtained certifications such as the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate from SOLIDWORKS in April 2019, and the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Healthcare - CPR / AED certifications from the National Safety Council in November 2021.
