Ivar Borst

Ivar Borst has extensive aviation experience, currently serving as a First Officer on the B737NG at Transavia since October 2018. Prior roles include First Officer positions at Cargolux Airlines for B747-400 and B747-8 from October 2016 to September 2018, and at VLM Airlines, where Ivar served as both a First Officer on the F50 and a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor from November 2007 to June 2016. Earlier career experiences include a Support Hero role at SmugMug from 2005 to 2009 and positions as Assistant Chief Flight Instructor and Flight Instructor at Naples Air Center, Inc. from January 2003 to October 2004. Ivar’s educational background includes obtaining an ATPL theory degree from CAE Amsterdam in 2005, a JAA CPL/IR from LLS in 2006, and training at multiple aviation institutions including the KLM Flight Academy and Naples Air Center, Inc.
