Marcel Stevens

Marcel Stevens is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Duty Manager Operations Control at transavia.com since March 1994, Marcel has extensive expertise in flight planning and operations oversight. Previous roles include Ops Manager at The Airline Cooperative in 2015, and Flight Dispatcher at Transavia from 1992 to 1994, where responsibilities included managing flight dispatch and ATFM slot monitoring. Early in the career, Marcel worked as a Duty Officer at Air Holland from 1990 to 1992, supporting flight operations for a fleet of B767-300 and B757-200 aircraft, and gained experience as an Air Traffic Controller in the Royal Dutch Navy from 1978 to 1990. Education includes obtaining Lean Six Sigma Orange and Yellow Belts from Hopb Academy in 2022, as well as an FAA Aircraft Dispatch License earned between 1994 and 1995.
