Ganesh Krishnamurthy

Ganesh Krishnamurthy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ganesh is currently the Director of Engineering, Data and Analytics at Transcard, starting in September 2020. Before that, they worked at Unum as the Director, Analytics from September 2017 to August 2020.

Prior to their role at Unum, Ganesh held various positions at FedEx. Ganesh served as a Revenue Science Fellow from May 2012 to August 2017 and as a Senior Strategic Marketing Analyst from March 2006 to April 2012.

Ganesh'scareer began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as an Audit Associate from August 2005 to February 2006. Before that, they gained experience as a Business Analyst - Intern at AstenJohnson from May 2004 to August 2004.

Ganesh also worked as a Software Engineer at Presenter Inc from June 2000 to December 2002. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Northeast Parallel Architectures Center and MNIS-TextWise through Syracuse University from August 1998 to May 2000.

Ganesh Krishnamurthy has a strong educational background with several degrees and certifications. Ganesh completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Ganesh then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University, which they obtained between 1998 and 2000.

Afterward, Ganesh continued to enhance their knowledge by completing an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at The University of Georgia, specializing in Finance, Marketing, and Accounting, from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Ganesh has also obtained various certifications. Ganesh became a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 in June 2011, followed by achieving the SAS Certified Predictive Modeler certification in April 2012. Ganesh also acquired expertise in Hadoop and MapReduce through the "Intro to Hadoop and MapReduce" course offered by Udacity in September 2015. Ganesh later obtained the Tableau Desktop 9 Qualified Associate certification in May 2016. Ganesh demonstrated their proficiency in data science by completing the "Data Science Specialization" program from Johns Hopkins University in April 2016. Ganesh further expanded their knowledge in machine learning by completing the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" course from Coursera in December 2017 and the "Applied Machine Learning in Python" course from Coursera in April 2018.

Additionally, Ganesh has recently achieved the Professional Data Engineer certification from Google Cloud Platform in January 2020, further solidifying their expertise in the field of data engineering.
