David Jacobsen

David (Jake) Jacobsen is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business development and sales within the healthcare industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Transcarent, Jacobsen leads a national team to drive strategic channel partnerships and enhance personalized healthcare access. Prior to this role, Jacobsen was Vice President of Business Development at 2nd.MD and spent nearly 18 years at UnitedHealthcare - Optum, where leadership of national sales and account management teams resulted in consistent revenue growth and numerous accolades, including 13 "President's Club" awards. Earlier in career, Jacobsen held significant positions at Xerox and LaserMaster, where a focus on consultative selling and strategic growth led to substantial market share increases. Jacobsen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Legal Studies from Hamline University.
