Jay Shewale

Jay Shewale has extensive work experience in data engineering and architecture. Jay is currently the Head of Data Engineering at Transcarent since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BCG GAMMA as a Senior Manager & Principal Architect from April 2020 to April 2022, where they played a key role in architecting and implementing a cloud-agnostic platform using modern tools sets. From October 2017 to April 2020, Jay worked as a Senior Architect at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), focusing on auto pricing products suite. Jay also has experience at Valence Health (now Evolent Health) as an Enterprise Architect and Enterprise Big Data Architect, and at Accretive Health as a Manager and Solution Architect. Jay's earlier work experience includes roles as a Data Warehouse Architect at JSMN International, INC and as a Design Engineer at Think Information Resource India Pvt. Ltd.

Jay Shewale has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from COEP Technological University, from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained a certification in MS SQL Server from Microsoft in 2012.
