Randy Ford

Randy Ford is an experienced operations leader currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Transcat since August 2021, previously holding the position of Sr. Director of Metrology & Operations. Prior to this role, Randy Ford was the Sr. Area Operations Director of the West at SIMCO from November 2020 to August 2021. Randy's tenure at SIMCO Electronics spanned over a decade, where roles included Director of Quality, Operational Excellence and IT/IS, Southwest Area Director, Texas Operations Manager, and Operations Supervisor/QA. Earlier in Randy’s career, positions at Verizon ERS as a Metrology Technician involved calibration and repair of electronic and mechanical test equipment. Randy Ford also served in the United States Army as a 35H TMDE Maintenance Support Specialist from November 1994 to August 1999, specializing in calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment. Randy Ford holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from North Central Texas College, earned between 2004 and 2005.
