Mark Conrad is an independent educational consultant and leadership coach who collaborates with organizations to redesign schools for equitable outcomes and transformative learning environments. With over 20 years of experience as a teacher, principal, and school network leader, Mark has provided strategic advising, design support, and professional development. Formerly the Chief Schools Officer at EL Education, Mark oversaw a national network of 160 schools, and previously founded and led The Crossroads School in Baltimore, recognized as a high-performing middle school. Mark holds a Master's degree in Urban Education and Leadership from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Miami University. Currently, Mark continues to work with a variety of organizations to innovate public education.
