Ling-Min Lu

Sr. VP of Global Pharmacovigilance at Transcenta

Ling-Min Lu has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacovigilance, safety evaluation, and research. Ling-Min currently holds the position of Vice President of Pharmacovigilance at Simcere Pharmaceutical Group since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Transcenta as the Senior Vice President of Global Pharmacovigilance from January 2022, and previously as the Vice President of Global Pharmacovigilance from September 2019 to December 2021. Ling-Min also served as a Global Safety Officer at Sanofi from July 2017 to September 2019.

In terms of their earlier experiences, Ling-Min Lu worked as a Brand Safety Leader at Novartis from September 2016 to July 2017. Ling-Min had an extensive tenure at Sanofi, where they held multiple roles including Global Safety Officer from September 2014 to August 2016 and Pharmacovigilance Scientist from September 2012 to August 2014. Ling-Min also worked as a Principal Research Investigator at Sanofi from May 2006 to October 2012.

Ling-Min Lu started their career as a Post-doctoral Fellow at McMaster University from April 2001 to April 2006. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathology, Immunopathology, School of Medicine, Ehime University, Japan from April 1998 to March 2001. In this role, they focused on immunopathology and genetic analysis of autoimmune diseases and had various responsibilities including supervision of students, clinical pathology duties, and teaching.

Ling-Min Lu has a PhD in pathology, immunology, hematological oncology, and population genetics from Kyoto University, School of Medicine. Prior to that, Ling-Min Lu obtained an M.D in Medicine and a Master's degree in Pathology and Oncology from Hebei Medical University.
