Patrick Aksan

Patrick Aksan has held various roles in the IT field since 2005. Patrick began as a Help Desk Technician for Faster Planet, Inc. in 2005. Patrick then moved to Bidz.com in 2006, where they held the positions of Systems Administrator/IT Manager and Backup/System Administrator. In 2012, they became a Sr. Systems Engineer for Modnique. In 2014, they joined iHerb Inc. as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they were VCP6-DCV certified, VCA6-DCV certified, AWS VDI- Workspaces w/ Teraduci Thin Clients, AWS Storage Gateway DR, Dell Data Domain DR, AWS Certified, and managed a 1200+ server environment. Patrick also worked as a Project Manager AWS SME for Tata Consultancy Services in 2014. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Manager of System Engineering for Transcepta.

Patrick Aksan began their educational journey in 1996 when they graduated from Daniel Murphy High with a High School Diploma. Patrick continued their education at California State University, Los Angeles, graduating in 2005 with a degree in Computer Information Systems and a focus in Information Technology. From 2005 to 2014, Patrick Aksan obtained IT certifications in CCNA Security, CCNA, MCSE, A+, Network+, Security+, AWS Architect, and Cloud+. In 2017, they obtained a VMware Certified Associate 6 - Data Center Virtualization certificate from VMware.
