Roy Dowdall

Roy Dowdall is an accomplished Maintenance Director currently leading light rail systems at Transdev Canada since November 2019. Previously, Dowdall served as Director of Maintenance at Keolis Canada, overseeing the successful launch of the Waterloo Light Rail Transit Project in June 2019 and demonstrating expertise in maintenance within a P3 environment. Additional experience includes managing customer relations, warranty processes, and vehicle deliveries as Manager of Product Introduction for Bombardier Transportation. Dowdall’s extensive career at the Toronto Transit Commission encompassed various roles, including Assistant Superintendent, Foreperson, and Engineering Technologist, with a strong focus on service delivery, operations management, and technical oversight. Dowdall holds educational qualifications from George Brown College, Humber College, the University of Toronto, and the Toronto Transit Commission.
