Mihai Chirca serves as the Public Affairs Deputy Director in charge of EU Affairs at Transdev since September 2016, also holding the position of Head of European Affairs and R&D Project Manager focused on Autonomous Transport Systems. Responsibilities include managing technical and financial aspects of projects at national and European levels, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and international partnerships. Additional roles include Chair of the Transport Task Force at SGI Europe and Vice-Chair of the EU Committee at UITP, where Mihai is actively involved in shaping policies on connected and automated vehicles, digitalisation, and mobility governance. Previous experience includes a PhD candidacy at Renault Group concentrating on autonomous vehicle research and various technical leadership roles in robotics and automation.
