Aaron Mends

Aaron Mends has a solid work history with experience in various roles and industries. In 2016, they participated in the Career & Leadership Academy Program at the Pomerantz Career Center for Leadership and Career Advancement. From 2017 to 2018, Aaron worked as a Project Manager for an independent consulting opportunity with a Beninese Non-Profit Organization. In 2020, they held the position of Substitute Teacher at Kelly and also worked as a Sales Representative for Real Home Evolutions. In 2022, Aaron joined Transeo as a Strategic Sales Representative before transitioning to Fulcrum, where they worked as an Account Executive until 2023. Currently, Aaron works as the Director of Partnerships at Transeo, where they focus on empowering school districts to partner with industry by providing technical infrastructure for work-based learning experiences.

Aaron Mends attended the University of Iowa from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Facilities Management at Illinois State University from 2019 to 2020.
