Charles Schaper is the founder and CEO of Transfer Devices, Inc., a nanotechnology company established in January 2004, specializing in the replication and transfer of microstructures and nanostructures for various applications, including medical and electronic device manufacturing. In addition to leadership at TDI, Charles Schaper serves as a research scientist and book author, conducting original research and publishing works focused on DNA design and the origins of life since July 2020. Prior to these roles, Charles Schaper held positions as a senior research scientist and research associate at Stanford University from 1991 to 2005, focusing on the application of advanced mathematics in semiconductor manufacturing technologies. Charles Schaper holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
