Jack Hyom

Jack Hyom has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jack is currently employed as a Content Manager at TransferRoom since May 2022. Before that, they worked for The Premier League as an Online Journalist from August 2014 to May 2022, and as a Digital Operations Assistant from August 2012 to July 2014.

Prior to their time at The Premier League, Jack served as a Systems Engineer at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd from September 2011 to August 2012. Jack also worked as a Freelance Broadcast Journalist at Lord's TV in April and May 2012, and as an Editor at Column 10 from May to September 2011.

Jack began their career at Waitrose as a Sales Assistant, Checkouts from October 2006 to August 2011. Jack also held the position of Sports Editor at Nerve* Media from October 2009 to May 2011.

Moreover, they gained experience as a Sports Production Assistant (Placement) at Sky News, part of BSkyB, from July to August 2010, and as a Junior Sports Reporter (Placement) at Express Newspapers from May 2009 to April 2010.

Lastly, Jack worked as a Reporter (Placement) at Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in June and July 2009.

Jack Hyom attended Toynbee School from 2001 to 2006, where they completed their secondary education. From 2006 to 2008, they studied at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, focusing on Media OCR, Radio & Press Journalism, Maths, and Film Studies. Afterward, they enrolled in Bournemouth University from 2008 to 2011, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Multimedia Journalism.
