David Teta

Software support specialist at Transfinder

David Teta has worked in a variety of roles across a number of companies since 2000. Theirfirst job was as a Retail Sales Representative at Verizon Wireless in 2000. In 2008, they moved to Tyco Electronics as a Network Operations Technician, where they monitored networks, created and tracked trouble tickets, and gathered information from Windows/UNIX based systems. In 2012, they worked at nfrastructure as a Help Desk Support and Desktop Support Technician, and then moved to the NYS Office of Information Technology Services as a Help Desk Support. In 2015, they joined MVP Health Care as a Cloud & Advanced Technology Desk Support, where they created and maintained computer images for Windows OS systems, evaluated new product versions and recommended upgrade schedules, and delivered support for reported problems for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices. In 2020, they began working at CDPHP as a Desktop Support Consultant, and in 2021 they began working at ConvergeOne as a Network Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Transfinder as a Software Support Specialist.

David Teta has a two-year Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Computer Networking Systems and Cybersecurity from SUNY Schenectady County Community College, which they earned from 2010 to 2012. David also attended ITT Technical Institute from 2009 to 2011.
