Rebecca Williamson

Rebecca Williamson is the Director of Engagement at Transform Multi-Academy Trust, a position held since 2023, continuing a career that began in 2015 within the School Improvement Team. Previously, they served as an Associate Head Teacher and held various teaching roles for over 12 years, including Deputy Head Teacher and Co-Head Teacher of an inner-city primary school. As a Specialist Leader of Education, they are dedicated to enhancing teacher recruitment, retention, and wellbeing, leading DEIB and Talent Management strategies, and developing programmes for new teachers. Rebecca has also contributed to national discussions on teacher workload and wellbeing, with published work in the DfE Workload Challenge Report. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy from Durham University, along with other degrees in Natural Sciences and education.
