Brian Wheelan

Brian Wheelan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brian currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Transformations Care Network, where they are involved in re-imagining outpatient mental health and psychiatry. Brian has also held the position of Operating Partner at Shore Capital Partners, where they provided expertise in outpatient mental health investment.

Before that, Brian worked as the President of Beacon Health Options, where they were responsible for managing a $1.4 billion business that organized behavioral health networks for various entities. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Vice President at Beacon Health Strategies.

Brian also has experience in management consulting, having worked as a Manager at Bain and Company. Additionally, they have worked in governmental organizations such as the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where they held positions like Assistant Secretary for Policy and Planning, Medicaid Administration, and Deputy Policy Director.

Their early career includes a position as an Associate at Mesoamerica. Throughout their career, Brian has exhibited a strong focus on mental health and has played a significant role in shaping the industry.

Brian Wheelan pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at Dartmouth College from 1991 to 1995. Brian furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Harvard Business School between 2001 and 2003.
