Krissy Durant serves as the Director of Communications at the International Institute of St. Louis since February 2023 and holds a partnership role at Transformunity, which connects organizations to impactful opportunities. Previous experience includes managing communications during a maternity leave at the International Institute of St. Louis, and overseeing volunteer operations, in-kind donations, and event logistics. With over a decade at JCI, Krissy held multiple leadership positions including Chief Communications Officer, focusing on brand direction and creative storytelling across various media, while directing international awards programs and membership services. An academic background from Saint Louis University includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and International Business.

Transformunity connects organizations to opportunities that increase their impact. We maintain relationships at various levels in different sectors of society in over 100 countries. We have been involved in movement building for the last decade and produced several global campaigns from conception to implementation, reaching over 5 million people. The Transformunity team has organized events of 50 to 8,000 participants in more than 50 countries.
