Michael Filon

Michael Filon is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in investment and corporate finance. Currently, Michael serves as a Seed Investor at Transfr since February 2019 and as a Board Member at Spalk since October 2018. Previously, Michael held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Greg Norman Company from July 2016 to February 2024. Michael's extensive career also includes significant roles at Office Depot, where Michael worked as Senior Vice President of North America Finance and held several key finance positions including Vice President of Finance, Assistant Treasurer, and Director of International Tax. Additional experience includes serving as Director of International Tax at AutoNation and ITT Inc., as well as Director of Tax for the Latin American Region at Eastman Kodak Company. Michael began the career as a Tax Consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Michael holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School, an MBA from Hofstra University, and a BA from the University at Albany.
