Mitch Dickey

Mitch Dickey is a seasoned professional in workforce development and government relations, currently serving as the State Workforce Manager at TRANSFR Inc. since January 2022. In this role, Mitch focuses on building strategic partnerships between government leaders and industry stakeholders to secure funding and enhance market presence. Mitch has held various influential positions, including Co-Chair of the Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Committee for the Illinois Workforce Innovation Board and a member of multiple committees within the University of Illinois System and Illinois Innovation Network. Previous experience includes serving as a state and federal lobbyist, where Mitch secured significant appropriations and grants for higher education. Mitch's career began with legislative strategy during a tenure in the Illinois House of Representatives and as Student Body President at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advocating for student interests. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Illinois Chicago, Mitch continues to drive impactful initiatives in education and workforce development.
