Ashar Ali

Ashar Ali is an experienced professional in cybersecurity and operational technology, currently serving as an Operational Technology Security Strategist at Transgrid since December 2022. Previously, Ashar worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at Schneider Electric, specializing in OT/IoT cybersecurity, and as a Network Engineer in cybersecurity and integrated services. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager at Operational Intelligence, where responsibilities focused on solutions for Smart Buildings, as well as positions at Optus and CIM Enviro, where sales and mechanical engineering skills were developed. Ashar has also held internships in electromechanical engineering with Riyad Bank and gained teaching experience as a maths tutor. Ashar holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
