Cameron Walters

Cameron Walters is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Government Relations at Transgrid since February 2020, after holding the position of Government and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor. Additionally, Cameron serves as a Councillor for Ward 1 and previously for Ward 3 in Wollongong City Council, with a term running until September 2024. In a broader governance role, Cameron is a Non-Executive Director at Local Government NSW and has contributed to the leadership of KidzWish Foundation as Acting Chief Executive Officer and Head of Business Development and Public Affairs. Previous experience includes working as a Policy and Media Adviser for the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW) and as an Electorate Officer in the Parliament of NSW. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
