Daniel Banovic has extensive experience in project management and engineering, having held various positions across notable companies in Australia. Starting as a Paving Engineer at CSR Emoleum from 2001 to 2003, Daniel progressed to become a Site Engineer at Hyder Consulting in 2003-2004. Daniel served as Project Engineer at Abigroup Contractors Pty Limited from 2004 to 2007 and as Senior Project Engineer at Leighton Contractors in 2007-2008. Daniel spent a significant period at Lend Lease, advancing to Project Manager from 2008 to October 2014, and later as Construction Manager until July 2017. Other key roles include Project Director at Transport for NSW from April 2021 to January 2023 and Head of Delivery Portfolio at Squadron Energy from January 2023 to September 2024. Currently, Daniel is serving as General Manager of Major Projects Operations at Transgrid since September 2024.
