David Palacio

David Palacio is an experienced commercial director with a focus on major projects, currently serving as the Commercial Director at Transgrid since October 2023. Prior to this role, David held significant positions at Sydney Metro, including Director Commercial and Associate Director Commercial, where responsibilities included the delivery of commercial frameworks and strategies for the City and Southwest Project. David's extensive background encompasses roles at Transport for NSW, where oversight of commercial strategies and dispute resolution frameworks was a priority, as well as positions at Broadspectrum, Laing O'Rourke, McConnell Dowell, Faithful+Gould, Simon Engineering, and Southern Air Conditioning. David holds a Master of Construction Law from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Building, Construction Management from the University of Technology Sydney, complemented by leadership training at the NSW Leadership Academy.
