Gareth Dawber

Gareth Dawber is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Commercial and Operational Finance at Transgrid since December 2023, Gareth previously held the position of Group General Manager - Finance at Paynter Dixon from February 2020 to December 2023. Prior to this, Gareth worked at Boral, where roles included National Financial Controller, Group Internal Audit Senior Manager, and Group Internal Audit Manager from March 2014 to February 2020. Earlier in the career, Gareth gained valuable experience at KPMG from September 2007 to March 2014, progressing from Graduate to Assistant Manager in External Audit and later becoming Manager in Internal Audit & Risk. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of ACCA.
