Jesse Steinfeld is an Energy Transition Manager at Transgrid, focusing on the planning of the NSW transmission and broader energy system to enable 100% renewable energy. With over a decade of diverse experience, Jesse has held various roles in engineering, planning, and project management in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Previous positions include co-founding Buildings Alive, where Jesse led initiatives to improve operational efficiency in buildings, and working as a renewable energy engineer at Oceanlinx, designing wave energy technologies. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Renewable Energy from the University of New South Wales and is currently completing a Fellowship Program at the Centre for Sustainability Leadership.
