John Burke has extensive experience in project delivery and management within the power sector, holding various leadership roles across multiple companies. At SNC-Lavalin, John served as General Manager for Project Delivery in the Power sector across the Asia Pacific from December 2016 to June 2021. Currently, John is the Programme Director for Major Projects at Transgrid since July 2025. Previous positions include serving as Regional Director for Engineering & Projects at Kentz and Project Director at Alstom Power, among others. John has also contributed to establishing a new procurement and construction function at Windlab as Chief Construction Officer from March 2024 to July 2025. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Business & Finance from the University of Central Lancashire and a Higher National Certificate in Engineering from North Trafford College.
