John Miles

John Miles is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in property management and project coordination. Currently serving as the Property and Easement Access Manager at Transgrid since October 2022, John has held various managerial positions at Waipa District Council from June 2016 to October 2022, overseeing property projects and services. Prior to that, John was the Property Group Manager at Align Limited, where a consultancy focused on environment, property, and stakeholder services operates. John’s career in the property sector began at Transpower New Zealand Limited as Property Manager Projects, and includes roles at Western Power and other organizations since 1980. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Property) from Curtin University, an Advanced Certificate in Business (Real Estate) from TAFE, and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the Western Australian Institute of Technology.
