Lance Wee

Lance Wee is an accomplished General Manager of Asset Management at TransGrid, with extensive experience in overseeing asset lifecycle performance, compliance, and developing strategies for asset renewal and maintenance across multiple asset classes. With a strong focus on ISO55001 standards, Lance has been responsible for a portfolio valued at $7 billion and manages a capital replacement expenditure of $250 million annually. Previous roles at TransGrid include Head of Asset Management and Group Manager of Asset Strategy, where significant advancements were made in engineering standards, design efficiency, and stakeholder management. Lance's career also includes leadership positions at Downer and Powerlink Queensland, complemented by an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from The University of Queensland. Currently, Lance serves as a Board Member for The Australian Power Institute.
