Maria Liu is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in property law, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel - Property at Transgrid since May 2017. At Transgrid, Maria provides expert legal advice on freehold property, easements, leases, and licences for various infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Prior to this role, Maria worked at Woolworths Group for over 11 years as Senior Lawyer - Property, managing legal requirements for a diverse property portfolio across Australia. Maria's legal career began at Abbott Tout Lawyers and included significant roles at Makinson d'Apice Lawyers, where Maria specialized in real estate agreements and acted for major clients in various sectors.
