Mark Nolan

Mark Nolan is an experienced media and communications professional with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Media Manager at Transgrid since August 2022, Mark focuses on critical transmission infrastructure for a sustainable energy future in Australia. Prior to this role, Mark was the Media & Communications Senior Advisor at Transgrid and held various positions at the Office of Local Government (NSW) as Director of Communications, leading a team to support local councils. Additional experience includes editorial leadership at Central Coast Express Advocate and directing media activities at NSW Trade & Investment. Mark also held several media management roles in government departments and started a career in journalism with prominent publications like the Daily Telegraph and Newcastle Herald. Mark holds a Diploma in Journalism from Macleay College.
