Oliver K.

Oliver K. has extensive work experience in project management and environmental consulting. Oliver began their career at Subadra Consulting Ltd as a Geotechnician. Oliver then joined URS Corporation, where they served as a Client Account Manager and Associate Consultant, specializing in remediation projects. Oliver later worked at Ampol Australia, now known as Ampol Australia, as the Commercial Operations Manager for Caltex Soil Remediation. During their time there, they successfully implemented an innovative soil remediation business, earning accolades for their achievements. Oliver then joined Jemena, where they held various roles, including Project Director for Gas Projects and Major Projects. Oliver was responsible for managing the delivery of special gas projects and overseeing the remediation portfolio across New South Wales. Oliver also played a key role in contract management and dispute resolution. After their tenure at Jemena, Oliver worked as a Senior Delivery Manager at Clough and SecureEnergy JV, where they led logistics functions for large-scale transmission projects. Currently, they are the Project Director for Snowy 2.0 Connection at Transgrid, leading a team in delivering the Snowy 2.0 Transmission Connection project. Oliver's work experience reflects their expertise in managing complex projects, environmental compliance, and stakeholder management.

Oliver K. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Macquarie Business School, obtained between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Analysis & Assessment from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2003-2004, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Geography from the same institution in 2000-2003. Additionally, Oliver has obtained various certifications, including Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) from the Association for Project Management in 2021, APM Member certification from the same association in 2020, IPMA Level A: Certified Projects Director from the International Project Management Association in 2019, Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD) from the Australian Institute of Project Management AIPM in 2018, and Fellow of the Geological Society of London (FGS) in 2008.
