Owen Evans is an experienced electrical engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) from the University of Wollongong. Currently serving as a Protection Design Engineer at TransGrid since March 2017, Owen has previous experience as an Electrical Engineer at AECOM/URS/EG&G and AGL Energy, as well as roles as a Project Development Engineer and Project Electrical Engineer at AGL Energy and Lend Lease, respectively. Early career experience includes providing secondary electrical designs for utilities at AECOM Australia Pty Ltd and serving as an Electrical Engineer at SMEC, along with a position as a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Downer EDi. Notably, Owen contributed to the design, construction, and commissioning of the Sydney Barangaroo 33/0.433kV Embedded Network.
