Peter Payne

Peter Payne is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Advocacy Manager at Transgrid since October 2025. Prior to this role, Peter held various positions at Endeavour Energy (NSW), including News and External Affairs Manager from August 2022 to July 2025 and Media and Public Affairs Manager from March 2011 to June 2022. Peter's career includes a tenure as Public Issues Manager at Integral Energy from October 2004 to February 2011 and as Senior Adviser to the NSW Minister for Energy, Utilities & Forestry from May 1998 to March 2003. Peter Payne holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Government from the University of Sydney.
