Simon Palagyi

Simon Palagyi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and finance. As of May 2017, Simon serves as Managing Director at OMERS Infrastructure, where Simon has held several director positions. Simon is also a board member at the Port of Melbourne since April 2022 and Transgrid since July 2020. Previous board member roles include LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services and the Port of Melbourne from November 2017 to January 2020. Prior to these roles, Simon was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from March 2006 to May 2017 and held an executive position at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Simon's early career included serving as Principal Advisor at NSW Treasury from July 1999 to June 2005. Simon holds a Master of Legal Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from UNSW, along with a graduate degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2020.
