Peter Ball

Peter Ball is a skilled software developer currently building backend applications for real-time arrival predictions, positioning data, and service alerts at Transit since January 2023. Prior experience includes a data analyst intern role at Data Sciences, where digital advertising data was queried, transformed, and analyzed, and live dashboards and forms were implemented. As a research assistant at McGill University, Peter researched natural language processing applications under the guidance of Professors Richard So and Simon DeDeo. Additionally, as a web designer for McGill Tribune, Peter contributed to the design of feature pages and led the implementation of the 2019 Journalism Conference website. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from McGill University.
