Marissa Smith

Marissa Smith is a skilled clinical specialist with extensive experience in behavioral health and family support services. Currently employed at Transitional Services, Inc. since October 2018, Marissa conducts clinical assessments to determine appropriate care and placement for individuals. Prior roles include serving as a family support specialist at Hilltop Community Children's Center, where Marissa fostered strong family connections and coordinated educational goals, and as a behavior specialist consultant/mobile therapist at Family Behavioral Resources, leading treatment teams and providing clinical support. Marissa has also gained valuable experience through internships, including work with victims of sexual violence at Pittsburgh Action Against Rape and supporting students' developmental needs in educational settings. Marissa holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Vincent College.
