Barb May

Barb May is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience spanning over four decades. Currently retired, Barb previously served as the Senior Human Resources Manager for North America at Transitions Optical, where responsibilities included coaching leadership teams and managing HR-related matters, talent development, and performance management. Prior to this role, Barb held positions in various companies, including Human Resources Generalist at Peter R. Brown Construction, where trust and effective onboarding processes were established, and at Essilor of America, where collaboration and culture transformation initiatives were led. Additionally, Barb was an Independent Consultant focusing on wellness coaching and has held various HR, training, and manufacturing leadership positions throughout a diverse career. Education includes programs from the University of South Florida (USF) and West Virginia Career College.
